A twenty-six-year-old Summerville woman was arrested in DeKalb County, Alabama on drug charges, according to a press release from DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Weldon.
Each month, Sheriff Weldon releases a report on the previous month’s drug arrests in neighboring DeKalb County. The November report was released earlier this week. A Chattooga County woman was arrested at Fort Payne motel after narcotics agents with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, along with the criminal investigations unit and the fire marshal obtained a search warrant for a room at the Days Inn.
Sheriff Weldon says that Michaela Leann Clough of Summerville and Christopher Shawn Kilgro of Cedar Bluff, Alabama were trafficking illegal drugs from the motel room.

The two were charged with trafficking in a illegal drug, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
