After carefully evaluating proposals from both Floyd EMS and Redmond EMS for the implementation of an EMS service plan, the service agreement has been awarded to Redmond EMS. While both plans presented a good opportunity for Chattooga County, Redmond’s proposal best helps to meet our goal of reducing overall response times.

 

Over the next several weeks, the Commissioner’s Office will meet with legal counsel and Redmond EMS to finalize all contract requirements. A preliminary date of transfer has been set for April 1, 2011.
