The United States Small Business Administration Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Chattooga County will be open again today after being closed for MLK Day, a state and Federal holiday, on Monday of this week.

Chattooga County businesses and residents affected by flooding on Sept. 3-4, 2022, are eligible to apply for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration. The declaration covers the counties of Chattooga, Floyd and Walker in Georgia and Cherokee and DeKalb in Alabama.

To assist businesses and residents affected by the disaster, the SBA opened the Chattooga County EMA/E-911 Center, 170 Farrar Drive in Summerville. The DLOC will be open 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The DLOC will close on January 26.
