Chattooga County Tax Commissioner Joy Hampton told WZQZ News that mobile home tax bills will start arriving in mailboxes across the county sometime toward the end of next week.   Mobile home taxes can be paid in person at the Chattooga County tax office.

Also, Tax Commissioner Hampton says that tax sale letters went out this week for the March tax sale and if you still owe for 2021 taxes, you shouldn’t delay in getting those paid.

The tax commissioner’s office is located at 120 Cox Street in the Chattooga County Courthouse Annex in Summerville.  The office is open from 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and closed on Wednesdays and Saturday and Sunday.
