A post on social media this week had some people thinking that Leslie’s Burger Shack in Summerville was closing – but it was a case of mistaken identity.  While it is true that the Burger Shack in nearby Cedar Bluff, Alabama is closing – the local Burger Shack on Rome Boulevard (U.S. Highway 27) in Summerville remains open.

The post some people saw from the Burger Shack in Cedar Bluff said:

After much thought, prayers, many tears and sleepless nights, we made the decision to sale The Burger Shack and it is SOLD. This was not an easy decision for us to make. We truly appreciate each and every one of you and will miss seeing you. The Burger Shack is CLOSED.

Leslie Watwood, owner of the Burger Shack in Summerville posted on social media Tuesday:
