Between midnight Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, Summerville Police officers made several visits to a house on Fourth Street regarding a domestic dispute.  When officers first spoke with the complainant, she said that forty-three-year-old John Wayne Siffles had been drinking and had damaged the residence, but that she did not want to press charges.  Officers were not able to immediately locate Siffles.  Officers returned to the scene later in the night and saw where Siffles had damaged the inside of the residence.  Another time, officers came back to the residence and the complainant said that Siffles had “thrown her pocketbook and belongings all over the ground”.  This time, officers found Siffles inside the residence “in an extremely intoxicated condition”. Siffles was arrested shortly before 2 AM Thursday morning and booked into the Chattooga County Jail on charges of disorderly conduct.
