On Friday of last week a Chattooga County teenager was warned not to return to the Dollar Tree Parking lot, including the businesses close by, after he was found doing burnouts in the parking lot. A Chattooga County Sheriff’s deputy issued a trespass warning to nineteen-year-old Gary Scott Carroll and made him leave the premises. The next night, the deputy observed Carroll in the parking lot of the thrift store in the same vicinity of the Dollar Tree. According to the deputy’s report, Caroll was “standing around three pickup trucks, talking and laughing” for about fifteen minutes before the deputy approached him. Carroll was arrested and taken to the Chattooga County Jail on charges of criminal trespass.
