If you rely on Windstream for internet service in Summerville, you may have had some problems on Wednesday evening.  An employee with Windstream told AM 1180 that Windstream is in the process of upgrading internet equipment that will deliver faster service to some areas of Summerville.  During the upgrade of equipment some customers have been temporarily without internet service.  Windstream said that the problems should be corrected and the new system up and running by Thursday.
