Residents of Chattooga County with property at Weiss Lake may want to take notice:

Due to the recent heavy rains, it’s expected that Weiss lake elevation, will exceed the summer pool level by about two to three feet to near elevation 567 Friday, March 11th.

Individuals with boats and water-related equipment and facilities are encouraged to stay alert to changing conditions and be prepared to take the necessary steps to protect their property.
