The Summerville News reported this week that Chattooga County Public Works is going to be doing work on Sprayberry Hill on Butler Dairy Road. The area is a hazard for drivers on a road that is a popular cut-through from the foot of Taylor’s Ridge on Highway 27, back towards Trion. County work crews will be cutting into the hill and lowering it to provide better visibility for travelers. The county will have to move about 300 feet of water line. Public works will also be straightening a curve in the area as well. A similar project was recently completed in the Mountain View Community.
