Last week, the Chattooga County Boys & Girls Club celebrated their 10th Anniversary.

On Thursday, the Boys & Girls Club held their Champions for Children Luncheon with Joey Jones as the guest speaker.  Local Boys & Girls Club Director Deb Denson Stowe said, “I can’t say thank you enough to everyone who had a small part in helping prepare, attending and supporting us at our Champions for Children luncheon last week and celebrating our 10 years here in Chattooga County. I am so blessed to get to work for this organization where I can hopefully have a small part in making a positive impact on the youth of our community”.

The organization consists of seven Clubs in four counties, located in some of the most underserved communities. They open our doors every day to kids and teens, providing a safe, positive, and engaging environment for kids with a focus on helping them reach their full potential. The Boys and Girls Club serves over 2,100 children in Whitfield, Murray, Gordon and Chattooga Counties.
