Several generations of Chattooga County kids have grown up learning about Jesus at Camp Hamby, a day-camp operated by area United Methodist Churches.  This year is no different as the camp gears up for their summer day camps scheduled for June 5-9 and June 12-16 from 9 AM until 2 PM each day.

Camp Hamby welcomes kids from all churches – or who don’t attend church at all.  It is for ages 5 to 11 and will include arts and crafts, music, nature, recreational games and Bible time.

Registration forms are available at www.camphamby.com .

The deadline to register is May 15th and spots are limited.  The cost is $60 which includes a T-shirt.

Also, if you have a middle or high school-aged child that is interested in being a camp counselor, applications are available on the web site.  Ages for counselors are 12-18 (upcoming 7th-12th graders).  Those forms should be turned in by May 15th as well.

There will be a mandatory training for councilors on Sunday, May 15th at 2 PM.
