Summerville’s annual “Ducky Derby” is returning to Town Creek this weekend in downtown Summerville and Summerville Main Street is still accepting vendors for the event, but vendor registration ends tomorrow, Tuesday, May 9.  Anyone interested in being a vendor at the event can contact Susan Locklear with Summerville Main Street at slocklear@summervillega.org . 

In addition to the Ducky Derby, classic car and truck enthusiasts will enjoy the North Georgia Cruisers Classic Car Cruise In on East Washington Street. Event hours are 10 AM – 2 PM, with a variety of food and craft vendors on site at the Summerville Depot.

The rubber duck race is set to begin at 1 PM.

Duck adoption tickets are now available through Main Street board members, volunteers, and participating businesses. Local participating businesses include: Pay N Tote, White’s Tire & Alignment, Beaver’s Garage, Blossom’s, Pine Ridge Outdoors, Dirt Town Deli, Jefferson’s, Trend Setters, Merle Norman/GaGa’s Boutique, Willow Tree Grill, Honey Bee Flowers Gifts & Sweets.
