A Summerville man was injured in an ATV accident in Cherokee County, Alabama this past holiday weekend. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the Summerville man and a passenger were both injured shortly after midnight on Monday on Cherokee County Road 51 which is located just south of the Floyd County, Georgia line. The Summerville man was driving a 2023 Yamaha and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency does not release names of accident victims in most cases and says there are no additional updates regarding the accident.
