Chattooga County EMA Director Eddie Henderson says that the most significant risk factor from the approaching storm this evening will be high winds. The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has said that Northwest Georgia, including Chattooga County could see winds of 60 mph with wind gusts even higher. There is also a chance for hail and even the possibility of a tornado. The storm system is expected to be over Chattooga County between 7 and 9 PM this evening.
