Chattooga County Tax Commissioner Joy Hampton has announced different office hours for the week of July 3-7.  The tax commissioner says that since the office will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th for Independence Day, they will open up on Wednesday, July 5th.  Also, next week only, office hours will be from 8 AM until 5 PM, instead of the normal hours of 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM.  Tax Commissioner Hampton says that she is amending the hours next week so that employees can complete online training after the office closes at 5 PM.  Normal hours of operation will return starting Monday, July 10th.  See schedule below:

Monday – July 3, 2023 – Open 8 AM – 5 PM

Tuesday – July 4, 2023 – Closed for Independence Day

Wednesday – July 5, 2023 – Open 8 AM – 5 PM

Thursday – July 6, 2023 – Open 8 AM – 5 PM

Friday – July 7, 2023 – Open 8 AM – 5 PM

Normal operating hours return the following week:

Monday – July 10, 2023 – Open 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
