A man reported the theft of his scooter keys to the sheriff’s office on Thursday of last week. Tony Trammel told a responding deputy that he was swimming with a woman at the “Blue Hole” at Raccoon Creek in Berryton.  He said that he had the keys to his scooter in his vest pocket while he was swimming, but when he got ready to leave, his keys were missing. Trammel said that he didn’t know the woman’s name, but told the deputy that she was driving a dark-colored Nissan car and that she worked at the Waffle House in Floyd County.   Trammel said he believed the woman may have taken his keys, telling the deputy that the woman started “acting strange” before she left.  The incident is still under investigation.
