The Chattooga County Agricultural Fair is one month away and the fair organizers are busy planning for this year’s event.  The fair showcases agriculture in Chattooga County and is an opportunity for Ag-students to show their animals and for the whole county and surrounding area to celebrate the importance of agriculture to our community, state and nation.

The fair will be held this year Thursday, August 24 – Sunday, August 27.  There will be musical entertainment each night on the Smith Iron Works Stage, followed by a nightly Laser Light Show.  The concert and Laser Light Show are covered by the cost of your admission.

Of course, Peachtree Rides will be returning once again with an exciting midway.  Ride armbands this year will be $25.  Also, there will be a new Kid’s Zone featuring a petting zoo, rock climbing wall and mechanical bull along with many other great rides and attractions.

Blue Ribbon entries will be received beginning August 21st at 2 PM.
