On Tuesday, Maisha Ludy was presented with the “Friend of the Community Award” by the City of Summerville.  The awards are being presented as part of Friendship Week in Summerville, in advance of the Friendship Festival coming up this weekend.

Congratulations to Maisha Ludy for receiving the “Friend of The Community” award today! She has served as the Chattooga Family Connection Coordinator for the past 3 years. Here are a few quotes from her nominations -“Maisha has worked tirelessly for the community during this time by making sure that food is available and distributed during Thanksgiving, and when it’s Back To School Time she pours herself into making sure that Family Connection is active with an annual Back To School Bash helping families with schools supplies, clothing, haircuts and fun. At Christmas she is active with a Christmas Stocking Program and she does all this with a smile on her face while raising her 3 sons, two of which are very active in sports.’ Thanks Maisha for all that you do!
