A man was arrested for unlawful conduct during a 911 call after he called Chattooga 911 multiple times and requested a detective, but would not give his name or location. A Chattooga County Deputy tracked down the man who was behind a gas station on Highway 27. The man claimed that someone at 911 had “strapped him to a chair and thrown him in jail”. The man also told the responding deputy that police were “running drugs”. Thirty-one-year-old Matthew Steven Webb continued to “talk nonsense”, according to a report from the sheriff’s office and was arrested and taken to the Chattooga County Jail.
