The American Red Cross helps people in emergencies every day. Whether its half a million disaster victims or one sick child who needs blood, the American Red Cross’ vital work is made possible by people like you, who learn how good it can feel to lend a helping hand.

When you make a blood donation, you join a very select group. Currently only 3 out of every 100 people in America donate blood.

There will be a community Blood Drive next Monday, April 25 at the Summerville First United Methodist Church located on Washington Street.  The blood drive will be held from 1 PM until 6 PM and walk-ins are welcome or you can call for an appointment 1-800-RED-CROSS
