Chattooga County school students will have early release on Thursday and Friday of next week for the 2023 Chattooga County Agricultural Fair.  Students will be released a 1:30 PM on Thursday, August 24th and Friday, August 25th.  Car riders should be picked up by 2 PM.  The Chattooga County Agricultural Fair takes place on the grounds of the Chattooga County Agricultural Building AND the grounds of Summerville Middle School.  Early release is necessary so that school traffic can be cleared out in time for fair traffic that evening.  This has been the practice at Chattooga County Schools since the fair was re-introduced in 2014.
