The FBI says that the investigation into how a Walker County teenager wound up in Arizona is ongoing. Over the weekend, fourteen-year-old Graycie Millard was located safe in Arizona sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning. Millard had been missing from her LaFayette home since July 17th, according to local law enforcement. The girl’s grandmother says that Millard said she was staying at a friend’s house and the friend’s did not realize that she was gone until the next morning. It is unclear how Millard got to Arizona or why she was there. The FBI says that they are not releasing any further information at this time.
