Chattooga County EMA Director Eddie Henderson says that Dr. Greg Forbes with The Weather Channel is predicting a 6 in 10 chance that Chattooga County will see tornadic activity this afternoon.  Henderson says "That is a 60 percent chance we’ll see a tornado today within a 50 mile radius of us."

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch in affect until 12 Noon today.  More watches and warnings are expected this afternoon as Northwest Georgia braces for another round of severe weather.  The National Weather Service said that the storm system moving in this afternoon holds a real chance for "rotation" – which could spark tornados in the area.
