A Chattooga County man who has been convicted and served time for child molestation is headed back to prison again with a life sentence after pleading guilty for a third time to child molestation.

Court records indicate that in 1990, a jury found Kenneth Lee Trammel of a Ridgeway Drive, Trion address, guilty of child molestation after he was accused of sexually assaulting a fourteen-year-old mentally handicapped boy.  Then Trammell was accused of molesting his own daughter after an incident in which he inappropriately touched the girl, who was twelve-years-old at the time, in front of the child’s grandmother.

This time, Trammel and his girlfriend are accused of having sex in front of a ten-year-old child.  Trammel’s girlfriend, Katherine Nicole Torres of Lafayette, was charged with cruelty to children in connection with the incident.

Trammel will serve 15 years without he possibility of parole.
