It looks as though all DeKalb County Schools will be back in session on Monday. Superintendent Charles Warren said Thursday that plans were being made to get students back in the Ider and Henagar Schools and to add 1,200 students at Sylvania – after Plainview School was significantly damaged. Warren said beginning Monday, Plainview students would attend classes at Sylvania.

Sylvania students will start the academic day at 7:30am and get out of school at 12:00 noon, with Plainview students going to school on the Sylvania campus from 1:00 -5:30pm. Rainsville and Sylvania students who attend the DeKalb County Technology School will do so at the normal times. Warren added that morning bus routes for Sylvania would be on regular schedule – and morning bus routes for Plainview students would begin around 11:45am
