A Rome man remained in jail Sunday morning, May 8, after police say he set fire to a woman’s property, reports state.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Terry Lee Smith Jr., 29, of 55 Lyons Drive did by means of fire damage and destroy the property of a woman living at the same address.
A witness confirmed the arson to police.
Smith is charged with felony arson in the third degree.
The report did not say what was set on fire by Smith.
