Last week, the Chattooga Board of Education announced the Teacher of the Year for each of the county’s schools.  Pictured above is Chattooga High School Teacher of the Year, Renee Beasley. Pictured with Mrs. Beasley are CHS administrators Matt West, Roger Wilkinson , Nancy Edwards and Mark Turner.

The 2024 Summerville Middle School Teacher of the Year is Mrs. Tracy Johnson. Pictured with Mrs. Johnson (center) are her husband, Mr. Brian Johnson (left) and SMS Principal, Mrs. Angela Culbert (right).

The 2024 Leroy Massey Elementary School Teacher of the Year is Ms. Erin Smith who teaches fourth-grade at LMES.

Ms. Lori Kellett was named the Lyerly Elementary School 2024 Teacher of the Year.

Ms. Loretta Pierce was named the Menlo Elementary School 2024 Teacher of the Year (Pictured on the right)
