DGD Outdoors is a player ran business connecting University of Georgia sports fans, athletes, and the great outdoors. DGD Outdoors is a collection of UGA Football players who enjoy the outdoors–hunting, fishing, and the conservation of wildlife. Their goal is to promote the importance of conservation and spread the values of being in the outdoors.  One of the athletes participating in the founding of DGD is Cade Brock, a senior fullback for UGA and a native of Chattooga County.

Recently Georgia football players Cade Brock, Drew Bobo and Will Snellings took 10 kids from Downtown Ministries out for a day of fishing at an Athens-area private pond. 

“These kids have never experienced fishing before,” said DGD’s Cade Brock.

Cade started DGD Outdoors last year along with Dan Jackson, of Gainesville, (No. 17, senior defensive back) and Gunner Stockton, of Tiger, (No. 14, sophmore quarterback). It all got started as an informal network of Bulldogs who simply love the outdoors and landowners who allowed them opportunities to go hunting or fishing, and the DGG Outdoors idea grew from that as they began to take other football players and UGA athletes who had never hunted or fished before. It then expanded to introduce kids to the outdoors, like those with Downtown Ministries.
