Two men were arrested Thursday morning after they were caught trying to sell stolen metal at a local recycling facility, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Jerry Ray Justice, 42, of Lyerly, took several metal and copper items from a business on Westside Industrial Boulevard on Wednesday.
He and Christopher Lawren Hutchens, 31, of 51 June St., Rome, were arrested after they tried to sell the metal at a recycling facility on Thursday morning.
Hutchens was charged with felony theft by deception and felony theft by taking.
Justice was charged with felony burglary, felony theft by deception and felony possession of methamphetamine. The report did not give details on the methamphetamine charge
