Municipal Elections were held in Summerville, Trion and Menlo on Tuesday of this week.  Only about 8% of registered voters that could have voted in the election bothered to come out and vote, cast an early ballot or vote absentee.

The Chattooga County Registrars Office said there were a total of 149 Advance Voting ballots, 322 Election Day ballots, 4 Absentee by Mail ballots for a total of 475 ballots cast in the November 7, 2023 Municipal General Elections.
