A thirty-seven-year-old Rome man has been arrested on a felony warrant charging him with exploitation of the elderly.
According to the warrant:
In September of this year, Jamal Rayshad May took $3,100 from the elderly victims with the understanding he was to perform a moving service for them.
May then told the victims he was robbed of the money and needed more funds to complete the job.
The work was never done.
May is also charged with felony theft by taking.
