A man from Douglas, Georgia is accused of trying to smuggle contraband into the Floyd County Prison in February of 2022.
According to the arrest warrant:
Twenty-nine-year-old Joseph John McNamara attempted to enter the prison with 25.6 grams of tobacco and a lighter concealed inside his rectum.
He is charged with possession of items prohibited for inmates.
