A Summerville teenager was arrested for criminal trespass on Friday of last week at a Summerville convenience store.

According to a report from the Summerville Police Department, seventeen-year-old Jordan Grady Roan came into the Circle K on Commerce Street and made a purchase.  The clerk called police after it was realized that Roan had been banned from the store.

Roan was still at the store when police arrived and they asked him why he had been banned from the store.  Roan told police that he had shoplifted a beer a few days prior to impress friends and that he was banned from all Circle K stores.

Police arrested Roan and booked him into the Chattooga County Jail on trespass charges.
