Two area churches are having food distribution events this week in Chattooga County.  Central Avenue Baptist Church in Trion will be passing out food tomorrow, Thursday, December 14th and Pentecostal Powers Ministries in Lyerly will be passing out free food on Friday, December 15th.

There’s Hope for the Hungry will be at Central Avenue Baptist Church in Trion tomorrow, Thursday, December 14 to give away free groceries. Come between the hours of 10 AM and 1 PM  to get  free groceries. No ID is required. But you must be present to receive the food.  The church is located at 14074 Highway 27 in Trion.

Pentecostal Power Ministries along with Drug Free Chattooga are preparing the Feed The Hungry Food boxes again this year and will be passing the food boxes out this Friday December 15th starting at 2 PM until all boxes are gone.  Pick up is in person – there is no delivery and you can get the food at Pentecostal Power Ministries located at 85 Lyerly Dam Road in Lyerly.
