A thirty-two- year-old Chattooga County woman was arrested in Rome this week on two felony warrants for theft by shoplifting.  The warrants stem from incidents that happened earlier this year.

According to the warrants, Alyssa Marie Teague of Summerville was charged for stealing clothing, paintings, a dinner set, curtains, bed linens, and comforters valued at $4,700 from the Bubazz store on Redmond Circle on July 7.  Then, sometime between July 24th and September 20th of this year, Teague is accused of stealing $711 in merchandise from Ulta Beauty on Turner McCall Boulevard.

This is not Teague’s first time to be in trouble for shoplifting.  In March of this year, Teague was accused of stealing over $1,400 worth of merchandise from the West Rome Walmart and leading police on a chase before her subsequent arrest.

In December of last year, Teague was arrested in Summerville after she was found smoking marijuana while naked in the bathroom of CVS.  See related story from WZQZ
