Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is coming up on Monday of next week and an ecumenical service is planned at Pond Spring AME Zion Church in Lyerly this coming Sunday. The service will begin at 3 PM with Rev. Jonathan Moore as the speaker.  Dinner will be served before the service at 2 PM at the Maceo Wiggins Fellowship Hall.  Then, on Monday, January 15th, there will be a “Day of Service” beginning at 11 AM at the Fairway Recreation Center on Senior Drive in Summerville.  Refreshments will be served and the public is invited to come out and fellowship.
