With the colder weather on the way, Animal Advocates of Chattooga County are reminding Chattooga County residents that they need to make plans to make sure that their pets have adequate shelter and prepare for the subfreezing temperatures that are headed our way.  Animal Advocates says that if it is not possible for you to bring your pets indoors during the cold weather, there is FREE straw available at Pine Ridge Outdoor Supply in Lyerly and Southern Living Farm and Garden in Trion.  The FREE wheat straw is available for Chattooga County families – one per family – one per vehicle picking up.
