Chattooga County Commissioner Blake Elsberry sent a notice out to media on Wednesday afternoon about a public meeting being held tomorrow (Friday) January 19th at 9 AM at his office.  The commissioner says that the purpose of the meeting will include the establishment of a county hotel/motel tax and a resolution that would revoke the controversial 2022 Land Development Ordinance and replace it with a Subdivision Development Ordinance.  Also, the commissioner will be announcing a resolution that would allow the county water department to enter into a contract with United Community Bank for remote check deposit.  You can see the commissioner’s announcement below:
