At their regular monthly meeting on Thursday evening, the Chattooga County Board of Education discussed the possibility of an upcoming SPLOST vote.  The board is looking at several different options regarding Chattooga High School.  The idea of a new high school has been considered, also the idea of building a new building in "stages" is being talked about as well.  Whatever the board decides to do, they will have to let Judge Jon Payne, Chattooga County Election Superintendent, know by August of this year if they want the SPLOST vote on a November ballot.
