Georgia Highlands College will be hosting the Northwest Georgia Regional Science and Engineering Fair next month . The fair will be held February 9, 2024 at the Cartersville campus.

The NWGA-RSEF includes the 17-county regions – Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Cherokee, Dade, Dawson, Fannin, Floyd, Forsyth, Gilmer, Gordon, Lumpkin, Murray, Pickens, Union, Walker, and Whitfield. To participate, students should have competed and advanced from one of these counties.

This past Friday, around 400 students from 54 schools and 12 districts were on the Georgia Highlands College campus Friday for the Northwest Georgia RESA Regional Tech Fair. The students, along with judges and chaperones, filled the gym, hallways and various rooms at the college preparing and presenting their tech creations.

Winners of Friday’s competition will move on to the state competition.
