The Chattooga County Registrars Office reminds voters that Advance Voting for the 2024 Presidential Preference Primary starts today at 8:30 AM.
Advance Voting weekday hours are 8:30 AM- 5 PM and Saturday hours are 9 AM – 5 PM. All Advance Voting takes place at the Chattooga County Registrars Office in downtown Summerville.
There will be two Saturdays for voting, February 24 and March 2. The last day of Advance Voting is Friday, March 8.
The Registrars Office says Advance Voting will be a little different this year. Voters will have a little paperwork to do when they first enter the advance voting location. They will then take their oath and select a ballot on the electronic poll book. Voters will then go down the hall and vote in the back room like they did during the midterm elections.
Absentee by Mail voting is currently underway. The last day to request an absentee by mail ballot in this election is Friday, March 1. All absentee by mail ballots must be received by the Registrars Office by March 12 at 7 PM.
The Registrars Office is located at 10017 Commerce Street in Summerville.
