Marty Gary has been a part of Chattooga county for his entire life. Many of the locals remember his restaurant (Gary’s) that was in downtown Summerville, for many years. Marty and his family still provide food services through their restaurant (Tootsie’s), which also helps provide jailhouse meals to the local Summerville jail.

He has been fighting a cancer diagnosis for over a year now, and has recently been informed that the cancer has unfortunately spread to parts of his brain. Everyone is being asked to come together to celebrate Marty Gary and his family, as well as raise funds to help them with the financial struggles that come with this disease.
