An inmate at the Floyd County Prison is facing charges when deputies say he tried to smuggle tobacco inside using a shaving cream can with a false bottom on April 26, 2023, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

William Jerome Coleman, 26, is charged with felony possession of items not authorized by the warden, conspiracy to commit a crime and use of a communication facility in the commission of a crime.

He is also charged with felony possession of a cell phone. He remained in jail on $10,000 bond as of Wednesday morning.
