A twenty-eight-year old South Carolina man was arrested in Georgia this past week after he and another were accused of planning to sneak drugs into a Northwest Georgia Prison.

Reports say that James Dominique Turner and Reina Allen were recorded on the Floyd County Prison’s telecommunication service planning to acquire and deliver 20 Oxycodone pills, 58.04 grams of marijuana, 49.22 grams of meth, 170 grams of tobacco, and two packs of Newport cigarettes to an arranged meeting spot.

Authorities added that the drugs were planned to be dropped at a work detail location at the Floyd County Industrial Park on the corner of Industrial Blvd and Superior Drive.

Prison investigators were able to intercept the drugs before they were brought into the prison.

Turner is charged with items prohibited by an inmate, three counts of conspiracy to possess controlled substances, three counts conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and use of a communication facility to facilitate a felony involving a controlled substance.
