A twenty-eight-year-old Chattooga County man was jailed late last month after admitting to police that he was in possession of methamphetamine.  According to a report from the Summerville Police Department, two officers were on a joint patrol when they conducted a traffic stop.  During the course of questioning the driver, the driver admitted that he did not have a driver’s license.  After a consent to search, officers found suspected methamphetamine and a glass pipe on Daniel Renegade Laney.  Laney later admitted to the officers that the substance found was methamphetamine.  Laney was charged with possession or use of drug related objects and possession of methamphetamine and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
