Graduation will be held this evening for the Class of 2024 at both Chattooga High School and Trion High School.  There are 145 Chattooga seniors that will be graduating this evening and 96 Trion seniors will receive their diplomas.

Yesterday, Chattooga School officials made the decision to move the graduation exercises indoors due to the possibility of inclement weather this evening.  Each Chattooga High School senior has been given 9 tickets for tonight’s ceremony.  Anyone attending graduation at the Tribe Pride Arena will be required to have a ticket for entrance.  Doors will open at 6:30 PM and graduation will start at 8 PM.

Trion High School’s graduation will be held at 8 PM this evening as well.  Trion School Supt. Dr. Phil Williams told WZQZ News that a decision as to where graduation will be held will be made by noon today.  For now, graduation is planned at Sam R. McCain Stadium / Clarence Blevins Field.  Should weather force the ceremony inside, the event will be held this evening at the Trion High School Gym.
