Local libraries are inviting Chattooga County residents to come out for the kickoff of the 2024 Summer Reading Challenge. 

The theme this year is “Adventure Begins at Your Library”.  The summer reading program kicks off at the Trion Library this Friday, May 31st between the hours of 4 PM and 6 PM.  Come in and sign up for the summer reading program and play mini golf and create crafts.  There will be activities for all ages, including adults.

Then on Saturday, the Summerville Library will host the summer reading program kickoff.  Stop by the library June 1st from 10 AM until 2 PM to sign up for the program and enjoy a petting zoo with lambs, goats, pigs and a Highland cow.
