
A sixty-five-year-old Summerville woman was booked into the Floyd County Jail Wednesday on felony warrants charging her with two counts of 2nd-degree burglary and theft by taking.
According to the warrants:
On May 9, Rita Carol Ledbetter entered a storage unit on Walenda Drive by cutting the lock.
She then took several items and replaced the lock she had cut with one of her own.
Then on May 10, she entered the same unit again, taking several more items, and placing them in her SUV.
The total value of the stolen items was listed at $2,666.96.
