The reigning Miss Rome has been named Miss Georgia 2024, and will now represent the state in the Miss America Competition.

Ludwidg Louizaire is from Atlanta and is a graduate of Hampton University.

Her Community Service Initiative is Education for Everyone and she performed a contemporary vocal during the 79th Annual Miss Georgia Scholarship competition held this past week at the Bill Heard Theatre of the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts in Columbus.

She received a $25,000 scholarship for winning Miss Georgia.

Miss Rome’s Teen, Riley Wolfe-Rach, was named the 2024 Miss Georgia’s Teen second runner-up and received a $1,000 scholarship.

She attends Columbus High School and is 18 years old.  Her Community Service Initiative is R.E.A.C.H. Out: Mental Health Matters.  She performed a lyrical dance.

Miss Georgia Southern University, Megan Wright, from Calhoun was named fourth runner-up for Miss Georgia.
